MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
Cozy up, Virgo. The Sun is in Sagittarius, your fourth house of home and family, putting you in the mood to nest. However, family time has its ups and downs during the first half of December. Your ruler Mercury is retrograde (backward) in Sagittarius until December 13th, stirring up misunderstandings, bumpy travel plans, and a bit of domestic discord. You’ll need to take quite a few deep breaths and pick your battles. A female relative in particular could get under your skin, and you may find her unusually irritating. Bottom line: you need space! If you’ve volunteered your home as a crash pad for out-of-town guests, you might want to keep the local motel on speed dial, just in case.
Not that you’ll have time to make egg nog and trim the tree all month, Virgo. Big career news could arrive at the December 10th Gemini lunar eclipse, which brings a blast of energy to your professional zone. This is the conclusion of events that began this summer at the June 1st Gemini solar eclipse. Since then, you’ve been on quite a trajectory: your professional goals may have completely changed or taken a new direction. In some way, your responsibilities are shifting. Eclipse events could also involve an important man in your life, possibly a father, brother or husband. A boss or key client could depart.
If your money has been unpredictable, things should stabilize in December. Radical Uranus has been retrograde since July 9th in Aries, your eighth house of wealth, joint ventures, and intimacy. Uranus goes direct (foreward) on December 9th, which will help you stabilize both emotionally and financially. On December 25th, expansive Jupiter ends a four-month retrograde, this time in your ninth house of travel, education, and expansion. Jupiter will remain in Taurus until next June, so consider going back to school, taking in international trip, or doing something that’s been on your “bucket list” for quite some time. You need to dabble, explore, and follow your passion… and now is a golden time to do it.
With the moon and Uranus both in Aries on New Year’s Eve, a quiet and reflective night will help you tune into your soul. Another reason to take a walk on the wild side? Passionate and unstoppable Mars is in Virgo from November 2011–July 2012. A revolution is brewing in your bedroom for the next several months, Virgo.
