MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
September brings a mix of partnerships and solo ventures. It’s time to stand solidly on your own two feet—but that doesn’t mean you can’t hold someone else’s hand while you’re at it. Your reinvented life is picking up steam, Pisces. Last month, the universe made it clear—you’re on a brand-new path, so leave the past behind. One thing you’re ditching? The whole martyr routine. You serve no one by sacrificing that which matters to you. You’ve used children, family or work obligations as excuses, but those are bankrupt. It’s time to “do you.” The Aries sun puts you in productive spirits, ready to roll up your sleeves and start building a lifestyle that matches your desires. Shift your time management, your eating habits, your style of dress or career—all to reflect your priorities.

Be careful not to throw out the baby with the bathwater, though. Saturn opposes Uranus in Pisces for the next couple months, stirring your rebel inclinations. Pisces, you’ve been such a trooper. 2009 was a complete rollercoaster, thanks to Jupiter’s station in Aquarius, your twelfth house of endings, release and illusion. It was like trying to run a marathon through dense fog, with lots of stumbling, guessing and disorientation. On January 17th, Jupiter moved into Pisces, where it will spend most of 2010. The turnaround is underway, and many Fish have taken that first tentative step toward believing that the universe is conspiring in your favor once again.

However, February has one last round of spiritual testing. The Sun is in Aquarius until the 18th, pushing you to let go of any toxic ’09 baggage you’ve dragged into the new year. Hard as it is, you must loosen your grip. If you’ve pinned your hopes to one job, person, location, opportunity…well, that was probably done in the spirit of scarcity. Be willing to believe that something much bigger awaits you, even if you have no tangible evidence. It’s all about divine timing. As someone recently said, just because the tide is out, doesn’t mean there’s less water in the ocean.

You’ll realize this come February 18th, when the Sun enters Pisces, flooding you with energy and abundance.
