MTV To Air DJ AM Reality Intervention
MTV is still moving forward with plans to air its intervention reality show featuring the late DJ AM, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
A rep for the network said “no decisions have been made yet.” However, sources reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter that MTV has been in talks with DJ AM’s family and is still planning to air the series.
“Gone Too Far” showcases DJ AM as the once-addicted and now sober guide helping other people through the battles with drug dependencies. In helping get others off drugs, DJ AM had sought the assistance of an addiction specialist, who was going to be present with him throughout the series.
The series was originally slated to debut on October 5, 2009.
